This seminar is part of the OXONIA Distinguished Speakers Events in Michaelmas Term 2003. It has been organized in cooperation with the Economics Department, University of Oxford.The seminar is part of the OXONIA Programme "IMPROVING MACROECONOMIC PERFORMANCE".
Martin Weale is Director of the National Institute of Economic and Social Research. He is also Commander of the British Empire for services to economics and Honorary Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries. He has previously worked and taught at Clare College, Cambridge University. He has also carried out consultancy work for organizations including the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis and the Bank of England. Martin Weale was educated at Cambridge University. His research interests include both micro and macro-economic issues.
