This seminar is organised in cooperation with the Economics Department, University of Oxford.

Dr. Diane Coyle heads Enlightenment Economics, a consultancy firm. She is a member of the BBC Trust and the Competition Commission, and a Visiting Professor at the Institute for Political and Economic Governance, University of Manchester. Previously, she was Economics Editor at The Independent. Dr. Coyle's forthcoming book, The Soulful Science, surveys key developments in economics during the past 20 years, advances which have revolutionised economists' ability to analyse society and improve policies.
